The Short Version

ScanDoc is built on a simple principle: your documents are yours. We don't collect them, we don't upload them, we don't see them. Everything stays on your device.

Information We Don't Collect

• We don't require an account
• We don't upload your scanned documents to any server
• We don't track your usage or behavior
• We don't use analytics that identify you
• We don't sell any data (we don't have any to sell)

Information That Stays on Your Device

• Scanned documents and images
• Saved signatures
• App preferences

All document data is stored locally using iOS's secure storage. When you delete the app, your data is deleted with it.

Permissions We Request

• Camera: Required to scan documents. Images are processed on-device only.
• Photo Library: Optional, only if you choose to import existing photos.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We don't see or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.

Third Parties

We don't share data with third parties because we don't collect data to share.

Children's Privacy

ScanDoc does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no account creation or data collection mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with an updated date.
